Wildlife & Conservation Sanctuary
The Devon Wildlife Trust has produced a lively trail of Wildlife Panels. Bright and informative with excellent photographs, it encourages campers to follow the Wildlife Quiz Trail. Enjoy the beautiful spring with Rhododendrons, Azalea and thousands of bulbs. Summer is ablaze with colour and the Autumn shades are breath taking.
General Store
Look for produce from local farmers amongst the essentials in the fully stocked store. Fresh bread and milk daily. Well equipped with camping accessories, tents, air beds, spares and Calor and Camping Gaz. There is everything you need for a barbecue plus a bottle of wine of country cider and a Devon delicacy or two. Opening times vary
Gift Shop, Coffee Bean Cafe & Evening Takeaway
The shop is fully stocked with gifts, childrens treats and holiday goodies. Take home Devon clotted cream fudge, tasty honey and backed biscuits. The Coffee Bean has freshly brewed coffee, Panini’s and delicious cakes. The Pizzaria evening take-away has healthy salads, pasta and delicious pizzas. Opening times vary.
Falconry Centre
A short stroll away is Falconry Centre with its world wide variety of Birds of Prey. From the ghostly flight of the barn owl to the wickedly cantankerous antics of the Caracara the daily displays are fasinating. Take the opportunity to enjoy the birds close up.
